2010 CANADIAN MILITARY ENGINEERS MUSEUM
Canadian Forces Base Gagetown, New Brunswick, Canada
Conserving two large paintings by Goranson-Fisher Studios, painted in 1940. The paintings on canvas are 8 x 10 feet in size and required:
- restretching onto new stretchers
- extensive paint consolidation
- surface cleaning
- varnish removal
- inpainting of losses in the paint layers
- revarnishing
- backing boards and hanging hardware
2009 PARKS CANADA COLLECTION/CONSERVATION MANAGEMENT

Unpacking and preparing two-dimensional art to hang on new art racking system. Tasks included:
- applying D-ring hardware
- securing loose frames
- applying archival backing boards
- hanging objects onto racking system in pre-determined order for easy retrieval

Inventory and Condition Survey of a portion of the Halifax Regional Municipality Indoor Public Art Collection: Paintings, Drawings and Traditional Print-making Techniques:
- creating a new database in Filemaker Pro 9
- recording and confirming key information about each object, including: accession number, media, dimension and condition
- creating a digital image of each object
- reporting on display and storage conditions
- making recommendations for improvements
